Introduction
My name is Bryan Diaz, and I am a first-generation Hispanic college graduate. I first attended Pasadena City College, and upon graduation, I transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree. My major was Business Administration, with an Emphasis on Accounting and Finance, and my minor was Journalism.
I was born and raised in Altadena, California. I am part of a family of 6, including a lovely mother, a supportive father, one older brother, one fraternal twin brother, and one little sister. My parents originated in Mexico but then migrated to the United States in hopes of opportunity and giving their future children a better life.
I am a quiet and shy individual due to the adverse effects of being bullied for years. Nevertheless, I pride myself on being an active team player and communicator thanks to working at Ralph’s as a Courtesy Clerk for 5 years. Since then, I was promoted to Bookkeeper and have been in the position for 3 years and counting.
As for hobbies, I enjoy playing video games in my free time. The types of games I enjoy playing vary, from shooters to role-playing. However, my favorite genre of games would have to be strategy games. I also enjoy watching the world of animation, I’ve always wanted to learn how to draw in the same style as the movies produced by Studio Ghibli. Their art style is always beautiful and captivating, much like the cherry blossom trees and shrines in Japan. I also enjoy reading my fair share of science fiction novels. I am currently reading books based on the Warhammer 40K universe. However, my favorite book is Metro 2033 by the Russian author Dmitry Pluhowsky.
